KEVIN DURANT AND THE NBA ARE COMING TO AUSTIN!!! THE FORMER LONGHORN ALL-AMERICAN RETURNS TO UT WITH THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER TO BATTLE TIM DUNCAN, TONY PARKER AND THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS AT THE FRANK ERWIN CENTER!

AUSTIN, TX –The Oklahoma City Thunder, led by NBA Rookie of the Year and former University of Texas Superstar Kevin Durant, are coming to the Frank Erwin Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs on October 20, 2009 in an NBA preseason game. This will be Durant’s first game back at UT since he was taken No. 2 in the 2007 NBA Draft.

Durant (25.3 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 2.8 apg) will team with guard Russell Westbrook (15.3 ppg, 5.3 apg, 4.9 rpg), as they go head-to-head against Spurs big man and former NBA MVP Tim Duncan (19.3 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 3.5 apg) and guard Tony Parker (22.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 6.9 apg,).
