AUSTIN, Texas – Chris Brown is becoming a worldwide sensation by fusing his R&B soul roots with a hip-hop edge to create memorable songs. Be sure to catch this talented young singer at the Frank Erwin Center Wednesday, July 2 at 7:30PM.

Brown became an instant star when he burst onto the music scene in 2005. His self-titled debut album reached #2 on the Billboard 200 and was certified double platinum within a year. Brown’s sophomore album, Exclusive, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and sold 300,000 copies in its first week domestically. He is set to re-release Exclusive on June 3 as a deluxe edition, renamed Exclusive: The Forever Edition. The re-release features four brand new tracks, including "Forever," which became Brown's ninth Top 10 single reaching No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 , and a remix of "Picture Perfect" featuring will.i.am, Bow Wow and Hurricane Chris.

Chris Brown is currently nominated for multiple BET Awards including Viewer’s Choice and Best Collaboration for “Kiss Kiss” as well as Best Male R&B Artist.
