AUSTIN, TEXAS – Selling out concerts around the country, the Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus “Best of Both Worlds Tour” has done just that for the show scheduled for January 24 at the Frank Erwin Center.

Cyrus, the 15-year-old singer/songwriter/actress, will perform part of the concert as her Disney Channel character, Hannah Montana and the rest as herself. Cyrus will be singing songs from her first solo album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. Released in June as a two-disc set, this collection debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 and reached platinum status after one week.

Cyrus shot to fame last year as the star of the Disney Channel television series “Hannah Montana,” in which the teen acts alongside her real-life dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. The series focuses on Miley Stewart, who lives a double life as an average teenage girl at school during the day, and a famous pop singer, Hannah Montana, at night.

Since 1977, the Frank Erwin Center has served Central Texans with some of the best in live entertainment. The multi-purpose facility located on The University of Texas at Austin campus, hosts a variety of events including concerts, theatrical performances, family shows and sporting events. It is also serves as the home court for the Texas men’s and women’s basketball teams.
