STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN AND AUSTINITE CHRIS TOMLIN PERFORM CHRISTIAN MUSIC AT THE THEATRE AT THE FRANK ERWIN CENTER

AUSTIN, TEXAS -  Contemporary Christian musicians Steven Curtis Chapman and special guest Chris Tomlin will be performing at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center Saturday, April 23.  Chapman has been one of the most prominent performers of contemporary Christian music since the late 80’s.  A prolific songwriter, he released his 14th record last year and will bring the songs off “All Things New” to Austin. 

Opening for Chapman is special guest Chris Tomlin.  Tomlin is from Austin and co-founded the Austin Stone Ministry Church.  Tomlin’s most recent album, “Arriving”, is laden with guitar-driven pop melodies recorded right here in River City.
