(Austin, TX) Winn Elementary is pleased to announce a special performance by Austin-area Ben Hur Shrine Circus clowns tomorrow morning, Thursday, October 9. Winn Elementary recently participated and won a reading contest conducted by the Frank Erwin Center and the Ben Hur Shrine Circus. The two-week contest was open to all elementary schools in the Austin area. Twelve schools participated and Winn Elementary took first place with students reading a total of 5,480 books! The student from each grade level at each participating school who read the most books receives four free tickets to the Ben Hur Shrine Circus playing this Friday, October 10-Sunday, October 12 at the Frank Erwin Center.

WHAT: Winn Elementary won a reading contest sponsored by the Frank Erwin Center and the Ben Hur Shrine Circus. By reading more books than other participating elementary schools, the students of Winn Elementary have earned a Ben Hur Shrine Circus clown performance. In addition, the principal will be treated to a clown makeover.
