(Austin-TX) The Frank Erwin Center and the Ben Hur Shrine Circus invite you to attend a contest on the pachyderm gridiron followed by a post-game treat with the World’s Largest Fruit Salad. This Thursday a contest between two elephants representing the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma will celebrate the arrival of the Ben Hur Shrine Circus. The Ben Hur Shrine Circus will be playing this weekend, October 10th-12th, at the Frank Erwin Center.
WHO: The Ben Hur Shrine Circus presents the Jacob Barreda Elephants
WHAT: A contest between two elephants representing the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners. After the contest the elephants will be treated to an elephant-sized fruit salad.
WHEN: Thursday, October 9 at 10:30 a.m.
WHERE: Frank Erwin Center

WHY: To welcome the arrival of the Ben Hur Shrine Circus to Austin
and in conjunction with
the Red River Shootout.
HOW: The Jacob Barreda Elephants will suit up as rivals Texas and Oklahoma and take the “field” playing elephant-style football. The public is invited to attend and encouraged to cheer for their favorite “team.”
Tickets for the Ben Hur Shrine Circus at the Frank Erwin Center today, Friday, October 10 thru Sunday, October 12 are $10, $15, and $20 and are ON SALE NOW at all Texas Box Office Outlets (includes H-E-B stores in Austin, Bastrop, Bee Caves, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Round Rock, and San Marcos; Ft.
