Globetrotters

The University of Texas at Austin Performing Arts Center is not only sporting a beautiful newly-renovated venue with Bass Concert Hall’s soon-to-be completed 14.7 million dollar face lift, but a whole new branding campaign to coincide with the upcoming reopening in January 2009. The theme of the new Performing Arts Center branding is “Bringing the World to Austin,” and is supported by a vibrant new logo along with a series of creative and captivating television, radio and print ads! Samples of this exciting new media are posted on the recently revamped www.utpac.org.

This exciting branding initiative is being spearheaded by Lyon Advertising, who has navigated successful branding campaigns for such high-profile clients as Sweet Leaf Tea, Brake Check and St. Edward’s University. Lyon Advertising founder and CEO Doug Lyon comments, “Bringing the World to Austin is exactly what we did in television and print campaigns that are both engaging and exciting.” He proudly adds, “As UT graduates and supporters of the arts in Austin, we couldn’t be more excited to be involved in this project.”

The unveiling of the 2008-2009 Fine Arts Season at the University of Texas at Austin Performing Arts Center will be announced in mid-September. For complete details on the season, please visit www.utpac.org.

The Performing Arts Center is also introducing a new membership program called the Texas Inner Circle. These members are a dynamic and exciting group of individuals and families who directly support the annual operations and programs of Austin’s largest arts organization. Ticket sales alone cover only 49% of our performance season, and with a recent decrease in state funding, the Performing Arts Center relies more than ever upon charitable donations to sustain the standard of excellence that Austinites have come to expect. Our members’ generous support ensures that the Performing Arts Center will continue to bring the best of the arts from around the world to our great city.

Texas Inner Circle memberships offer greater access to everything that takes place during our season and include exclusive benefits such as priority subscription processing, members-only opportunity to purchase tickets BEFORE the general public, personal ticket concierge service, reserved and valet parking, invitations to high profile events, and much more. For more details about the Texas Inner Circle, please visit www.utpac.org/support.

Subscriptions to this fabulous Broadway Season are available by phone at 800-731-SHOW (7469) or online at www.BroadwayAcrossAmerica.com.
