Playhouse Disney Live!

Playhouse Disney Spotlight: Little Einsteins

line

disney

While Playhouse Disney Live! includes just about every single one of Ooh and Aah’s friends, including your favorites from Handy Manny, My Friends Tigger & Pooh, Little Einsteins, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, it is nice to talk about each one of them individually from time to time. This month, we’ve chosen to shine our spotlight on the Little Einsteins.

Playhouse Disney Live! will kick off with a trip around the world. The Little Einsteins, along with trusty Rocket, will take audiences around the globe on a musical field trip as they fly to China, India, Russia, Egypt, Italy, Japan, Spain and Africa to discover different music cultures. “It is so rewarding to see the children’s excitement when they are asked to pat along with the Einsteins to power up Rocket,” says Director Jay Smith. “And they even get to see them fly in Rocket across stage and onto our rear projection screen!”

Little Einsteins, which started as a direct-to-video movie, has become a huge hit with parents and kids alike. Like many other shows, its main goal is to teach, but it aims to teach not only the basics, but art and music appreciation as well.

The characters on Little Einsteins appeal to a wide variety of children because they have their own unique talents such as conducting music, ballet, playing instruments, and singing. The show encourages kids to get involved and help solve the mystery presented in each episode. Rocket, the main form of transportation for the four kids, Leo, June, Quincy, and Annie, is key to helping the kids solve each one of their missions.

Don’t miss your chance to go on a global field trip with the Little Einsteins and Rocket on December 19 at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center!
