Work Hard, Play Harder!

We know you work hard. So why don’t you treat yourself to a night of hassle free entertainment at the Frank Erwin Center! Our calendar is jam packed with a wide range of entertainment to spice up your evenings!

Jeff Dunham (October 2) and his suitcase full of puppets will kickoff October with a bang. Who knew a ventriloquist could be so cool, hip, and funny!? If your belly isn’t too sore from laughing with Jeff Dunham, you can stop by the following night to see the equal opportunity offender, Carlos Mencia (October 3), in his new smash tour “At Close Range.”

If you have daughters, I’m sure the news has spread to you by now that The Cheetah Girls are coming to Austin! Your family can be the first to see their new tour, The Cheetah Girls One World Tour, as Austin was chosen to kick off their national tour on October 8! And the family fun doesn’t stop there… If you were hooked like I was to this season’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” don’t fret, you can still catch your favorite Top 11 dancers on our stage October 12.

For a truly relaxing and romantic evening, we are bringing you Latin superstar and heartthrob Luis Miguel on October 15, followed by a night of southern gospel favorites on October 17 when the Gaither Homecoming “Lovin’ Live” Tour arrives in Austin! Weezer has returned from hiatus, and will stop in Austin on October 20 to support their new album, Weezer (The Red Album). And then for country fans out there (like me!), we have Carrie Underwood with special guest Little Big Town as a Halloween treat on October 31! To satisfy your inner rock star, Dashboard Confessional, Panic at the Disco, with special guests Plain White T’s and The Cab, will stop in Austin for the Rock Band Live Tour on November 13!

If you have little ones at home to entertain over the holiday break, bring them to see their favorite Disney characters when Playhouse Disney Live! comes to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on December 19! Radio City Christmas Spectacular will kick off our holiday season with four performances December 30-31. Then, make sure you polish off your holiday right with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, as they will play to what I’m certain will be a full house on January 4. Entering their 82nd year of touring, and having entertained Presidents, Popes, and the like, the Harlem Globetrotters will dribble their way into Austin on February 5!
