Spring is in the Air!


You’ve got to love spring in Austin, Texas! The weather is perfect, March Madness is kicking in and winter is on its way out so how about enjoying the spring air with a drive to the Frank Erwin Center for a hot show!

We kick off the month with The University Interscholastic League Basketball State Championships. The girls wrap up on March 1 but there is still plenty of basketball left as the boys start their tournament on March 6.

Casting Crowns is up next when they hit The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on Friday, April 4. Come check out Christian music’s top-selling artist along with special guest Leeland and introducing John Waller.

Millions around the globe have witnessed it and now it’s your turn as Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance heads our way on April 17. This international Irish dancing extravaganza is not to be missed!

Long time fans have spoken and they want more so Rush has officially announced dates for their extended 2008 “Snakes & Arrows World Tour.” Catch Rush live at the Frank Erwin Center on April 23.

Talk about “fresh”…join us at the Frank Erwin Center on April 30 as Kanye West’s “Glow in the Dark Tour” heads our way co-starring Rihanna, N.E.R.D and Lupe Fiasco. West, Rihanna and Fiasco are fresh off Grammy wins this past month so this is definitely going to be a hot ticket.

Continuing with the concert fun, reigning Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year and current Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, Kenny Chesney, will be here on May 1 with special guest LeAnn Rimes.
