The Gaither Vocal Band, accompanied by his crew of Homecoming artists, has just released their latest album, Lovin’ Life. Gaither and Friends will be sharing the masterpiece of this album with their fans when stopping by the Frank Erwin Center on October 17 for the “Lovin’ Life” tour.

The Gaither Homecoming Tour has been anywhere and everywhere singing praises and spreading the love. Bill Gaither credits the long-run success of his music to the people he feels are a great encouragement to him: his fans.

“Our audiences over the years have been so gracious and supportive that now, more than 40 years after quitting our day jobs as teachers to pursue music full-time, we are still shaking our heads at how far beyond our imagination this path has taken us,” says Gaither. “We were just writing songs out of our daily struggles and questions... but apparently it struck a chord in the lives of real people like us. Awards, acclaim and gold albums cannot compare to the simple joy of being able to do what we love, after all these years, knowing that our work is still finding its way into the core of people’s lives.”

Gaither joins a group of singers, musicians and comedians, whose collective talents have been honored with countless awards, including Grammys, Doves and The NARAS President’s Merit Award. In 2000, Bill and Gloria Gaither were presented with the first ever Songwriter of the Century award by ASCAP. They also received the 2008 Sachem, the state of Indiana’s highest award.

With the “Lovin Life” tour, audiences can look forward to an evening of music and celebration featuring both fresh new sounds and classic favorites.
