WWE is starting 2008 with even more excitement and more intense rivalries that are sure to keep you on the edge of your seat! “Monday Night Raw” will not disappoint when it is televised live from the Frank Erwin Center on Monday, February 4 at 6PM.

“Monday Night Raw” opened the New Year by bringing back “Raw Roulette” which is creating exciting matchups and bringing about new rivalries that show WWE is pulling out all of the stops for 2008. The roulette wheel brought about an interesting steel cage match between Jeff Hardy and Umaga. Little did anyone know however, that the match would be overshadowed by an even bigger event.

During Hardy’s match with Umaga, defending WWE champion Randy Orton brutally attacked Jeff Hardy’s brother, Matt, in the locker room. Matt had been sidelined due to an emergency appendectomy in November, but this did not stop Orton from attacking him while his brother Jeff watched helplessly from the ring. Orton believed that the attack on Matt would get inside of Jeff’s head and he would go on to lose the steel cage match with Umaga. This did not happen however, as Jeff seemed more focused than ever as he fought through injury and pain to defeat Umaga and send a message to Orton that he is next!

Another rivalry beginning to boil over in 2008 is the one between Chris Jericho and JBL. JBL interfered with a match between Jericho and Snitsky in January and that is sure to leave bad blood. In a ruthless attack, JBL dragged Jericho across the floor using a TV cable. This attack confirmed how much JBL hates Jericho and leads us to wonder what Jericho will do for revenge! Jericho also has an ongoing feud with reigning champion Randy Orton. Jericho returned after a two year absence to “save” fans from boring wrestlers such as Orton. With the New Year, Jericho hopes to make his promise a reality as he looks to take down Orton.

Other wrestlers that will be in action include Cody Rhodes, Mr. Kennedy and Triple H who seems to be looking to create a few rivalries of his own for the New Year! Come check out all the excitement and pulse pounding action as these wrestlers battle it out for bragging rights in 2008!
