Weezer, with special guests Angels & Airwaves and Tokyo Police Club, will make a stop at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on October 20! Embarking on their first tour in three years, Weezer will hit the road this September to promote their latest album Weezer (The Red Album) that features their No. 1 hit song "Pork And Beans."

Weezer was formed in 1994 by lead-singer Rivers Cuomo and took the college music scene by storm with their first album, Weezer. Including some of their most famous hits like "Undone-The Sweater Song," "Buddy Holly," and "Say It Ain't So," this album quickly propelled Weezer into the forefront of 90's music and gained the group an almost cult-like status among fans.

San Diego-based Angels & Airwaves are currently headlining the Warped Tour 2008 in support of their sophomore release I-Empire, which debuted in the Top 10 and includes the hit single "Everything's Magic." Singer and guitarist Tom Delonge says, "The Weezer tour is an amazing event, not only for us as a band, but it's going to be the best tour of the year for fans, we're excited to be a part of it." Also joining Weezer on stage is Tokyo Police Club, a 4-piece band from Toronto, Ontario that is hitting the road to support their debut full length Elephant Shell.
