April Showers Bring...Fun Concerts!

Christian rock band Casting Crowns will start the April fun when they soar into The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on Friday, April 4. Not your everyday rock band, the Casting Crowns lace their music with powerful and inspirational religious messages.

Known by some as “the Boss of Latin pop,” Juanes is bringing his “La Vida World Tour” to Austin on April 16. With four nominations at this month’s Billboard Latin Music Awards and singles “Me Enamora” and “Gota de Agua Dulce” at the top of the Latin music charts, Juanes promises to deliver one hot show at the Frank Erwin Center.

Since Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance first opened in 1996, it has broken records worldwide and is the biggest grossing tour in the history of entertainment! Now, they’re headed our way on April 17 and you’ll definitely want to be here.

Longtime rock band Rush is bringing their hugely successful “Snakes & Arrows World Tour” to the Frank Erwin Center April 23. Fans can expect to experience the technical virtuosity and hard-rocking compositions they have come to love!

Wrapping up the month will be Kanye West’s “Glow in the Dark Tour” co-starring Rihanna, N.E.R.D and Lupe Fiasco on April 30. West’s tour to promote his new LP Graduation had a very successful run overseas and is sure to receive the same reaction here in the US.

Three-in-a-row Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year and three time and current Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney is bringing the “Poets and Pirates Tour” to town on May 1 with special guest LeAnn Rimes. Known for concerts that bring a ton of fun and lots of energy, Chesney is sure to heat up the stage in Austin!
