GO Tour With Kutless and newworldson

newsboys Group Photo

The newsboys “GO” tour is off and rolling and it’s only a matter of weeks until they rock the stage at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center. With the successful release of their newest album, GO, over six million of their albums sold worldwide, and inspirational messages laced throughout their many hit songs, the newsboys are sure to deliver an amazing performance to Austin, TX!

The band believes the truth and meaning within their songs is vital in creating music their fans truly relate to and appreciate. For inspiration when writing GO, lead singer, Peter Furler didn’t turn to his record collection, the radio or even MTV. Instead, he used his own headspace as the setting to write the music. He claims that his biggest influence after fourteen albums is himself: his experiences, the journey he has traveled. According to Furler, there can be nothing more stimulating than this.

The new album, GO, which has more of a pop feel, is said to be a “very rhythmic approach to the newsboys sound.” The album’s songs are driven by beat, bass, and melody, with hints of urban influence, and the memorable choruses that you can’t help but sing along with. This is the band at their most confident; the record sounds like guys who are as excited as they have ever been to play. With so much confidence, the newsboys should have no problem bringing the excitement and energy of the album to the stage.

One of the two talented bands joining the newsboys “GO” tour is the Portland, Oregon-based fivesome, Kutless. With the release of their latest album, Hearts of the Innocent, and explosive single, “Shut me Out,” the Oregon rockers have proved that they have what it takes to get the fans going. The other addition to the lineup is Canadian band, newworldson, who weave soul, funk, reggae and gospel into a unique sound for the tour.

Don’t miss out on a night of three amazing bands bringing each of their exceptional sounds together to create an unforgettable experience for the audience at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on October 20! “GO” grab your tickets now!
