It’s Officially Summer!

By now, the kids have been out of school for a bit and summer camps are well underway. You’re enjoying your vacation from homework and making lunches and quite frankly, you’re wondering what do to with all your free time. Have no fear…the Frank Erwin Center is here!

We’re starting the month off with plenty of laughs when George Lopez returns to the Frank Erwin Center on June 2. Considered one of the nation’s best comedians, George Lopez has been selling out shows coast to coast and we’re expecting a full house when he makes his way back to Austin so get your tickets now!

Don’t forget to get the last of your football fix before fall as the Austin Wranglers wrap up the regular season on June 9. The Wranglers will finish up at the Frank Erwin Center with the Georgia Force. These games are action packed and great family fun.

Boxing is back! If you missed the big fight in May, no worries. We’ve got something we think will be even bigger when the Texas Title Fight featuring Super Lightweight Gilbert Vera hits the Frank Erwin Center on Saturday, June 16. We’ll have multiple fights on the card, a local headliner in Austin’s own Gilbert Vera and VIP ringside seating that comes complete with a rib eye steak dinner for those looking for a special evening out with friends.

Dust off your fancy shoes and swanky duds for a fabulous night out with your favorite dancing stars. Yes, Dancing with the Stars - The Tour is making its way to Austin on June 20 and Joey Fatone, Drew Lachey, Joey Lawrence and more will be leading the way. These guys are enjoyable to watch at home so just imagine what the show will be like on the Frank Erwin Center floor!

Everyone knows there is nothing quite like the circus so grab the family and join us for the return of the The Greatest Show On Earth® to the Frank Erwin Center June 27 – July 1. With the biggest changes the show has seen in 50 years, the 136th edition of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® for the first time ever introduces a storyline, a huge stage and a jumbo video screen to bring audiences closer to the action.

With summer in full gear, we’ll have plenty for you to sing about as two huge country music shows make their way to the Frank Erwin Center. We’ll kick off the July holiday with country music sensation Keith Urban with special guest The Wreckers on Tuesday, July 3. And keep your cowboy gear in close range because you’ll need it the following week for Martina McBride with special guest Little Big Town on Saturday, July 14.

The summer will be sizzling, literally and figuratively, and we’re here to help you celebrate!
