School of Music Professor, Russell Pinkston, established the Electro-Acoustic Recital Series in the spring of 1984 to provide a professional venue for the performance of electro-acoustic and multimedia works. In addition to presenting significant works from around the world, EARS is a platform for the realization of works created at The University of Texas Electronic Music Studios and includes a special appearance by guest artist Paul Dresher.
