Chuck Norris Presents World Combat League

Turf Wars Come to Austin!

Chuck Norris Presents World Combat LeagueWorld Combat League Combat Zone

Who’s the Toughest City? The World Combat League (WCL) gears up to discover the answer to this question on September 22 when WCL West Coast Playoffs arrive at the Frank Erwin Center. The playoffs’ doubleheader will feature the Oklahoma Destroyers taking on the Houston Enforcers and the Los Angeles Stars battling the Texas Dragons. Will the Destroyers overpower the Enforcers, or will Houstonians prove to be tougher? Then in the second match of the evening, the Dragons and Stars battle it out for their respective states. Will these Texans make us proud?

The team pairings were recently revised for better match-ups between the individual fighters. Now fans will get to witness Thomas ‘Thunderkick’ Longacre of the Oklahoma Destroyers combat the Houston Enforcers’ Tim Connors. The match promises to pit Longacre’s agility up against Connors’ towering presence, which ought to truly exemplify the league’s high-octane martial arts action. In the night’s other show-down, the match between Los Angeles’ Raymond ‘The Real Deal’ Daniels and Texas Dragons’ Lawson Baker will be a fan favorite. Daniels, the league’s scoring efficiency leader, will be tested by the knockout power of Baker’s balanced attack.

Chuck Norris’ World Combat League has delivered on its promise of full-throttle action and hopes to expand in the future to answer the question – “Who’s the toughest Nation?” Norris is already planning to expand into Europe and Asia and hopes to form a global sport one day.
