When It’s Chilly Outside, It’s Time For Entertainment Inside!
Finally,
a taste of fall has come to Central Texas. Football (a taste
of Red River victory!), pumpkin ice cream (this is still Texas
after all), roasted or fried turkey (and its many ensuing incarnations:
turkey enchiladas, turkey quesadillas, turkey casserole...)
and finding ways to have fun inside when it’s cold outside.
The Frank Erwin Center is the perfect place to have a good
time with your friends and stay warm while you have a night
out on the town.
Luis Miguel will be warming up his audience with romantic Latin love songs and mariachi classics off his new album, Mexico
en la Piel. Miguel is an international superstar with an extensive catalog of albums, a large collection of Grammy and Billboard awards, and a biography that includes working alongside some of the biggest names in music history. Miguel will perform in Austin on November 4 at The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center before he goes on to tour South America and wrap up this tour in Mexico.
Dave Chappelle will bring his rapid-fire wit to get you to LOL at the Erwin Center on November 13. Chappelle earned recognition for his comedy with his stand-up, long before his television and movie appearances. If you’re bemoaning the loss of Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central, you definitely don’t want to miss Dave Chappelle in Concert.
Before you know it, Thanksgiving will be here and the holiday season will have officially started. To help get you into the holiday spirit, tickets to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra are on sale now.
Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a joyful start on the holidays!
