Elmo’s Coloring Book Is Open to Austin to Fill In and Have Fun!

This February, Elmo and his fuzzy friends will take you on a magical journey into the pages of his coloring book. They will travel to such far-off lands as ancient Egypt, the days of the dinosaurs and finally to an enchanted junkyard. Sesame Street favorites will be joining Elmo on his expedition: Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, Oscar, Count Von Count and a character almost all children (and adults) can relate to…Cookie Monster!

If you never saw a production of Sesame Street Live as a child, don’t miss out on the enjoyment of it as an adult with your own children. It has all the razzle-dazzle of a Broadway production with adorable characters, clever writing, music, choreography and special effects. Not only does it introduce children to appreciating the arts, “Elmo’s Coloring Book” also teaches children timeless lessons about the importance of acceptance, diversity and sharing.

This year Elmo will be pondering the question: What would happen if all the colors of the world disappeared? This show will feature many new colored-themed songs such as “Fuzzy and Blue”, “Red-hot Tango” and “Yellow Polka” as well as Sesame Street classics “Sing”, “Sunny Days” and “I Love Trash”. Kids of all ages can join in the fun, because no one is too old or too cool to sing, dance, clap along and have a good time.

Like the television program, Sesame Street Live is a fun learning experience dedicated to teaching children not only about numbers and letters, but important life skills. Even parents can benefit from the prevailing themes of the production, proving that there’s always something new to learn.
