UT Basketball Brings Big 12 Play Down the Court at the Frank Erwin Center

January marks the beginning of Big 12 conference play for UT Men’s and Women’s basketball teams. The Big 12 is a basketball powerhouse this year; featuring three top 20 men’s and four top 20 women’s teams.

After shooting their way into the Sweet 16 last year at the NCAA Tournament and losing just one starting player, the UT Women’s Basketball team is looking for a national championship. The women kick off conference action January 5 on their home court at the Frank Erwin Center against Kansas. And you won’t want to miss the big games against Oklahoma State on January 15 and Baylor on January 22!

After non-conference games against UNLV and Memphis, the UT Men begin Big 12 play against Baylor on January 9 at the Frank Erwin Center. Later on in the month the Horns will face two major rivals: the Oklahoma State Cowboys on January 17 and Bobby Knight’s Texas Tech Red Raiders on January 25. Come out and help cheer them on to a win!
