Austin Wranglers Tee Up First Annual Golf Tournament

The Austin Wranglers are holding their inaugural charity golf tournament June 1 at Barton Creek Country Club. The tournament will benefit FesteCapital Give to Live, an organization offering assistance to cancer patients who cannot afford treatment. The event will include golf prizes, an awards banquet, silent and live auctions and player appearances.

The tournament will kick off at Crenshaw Cliffside at 1:30PM. The awards banquet and auctions will start at 6:30PM in the Governor’s Ballroom. There will be an autographed game day jersey and a picture with the players at the live auction; items in the silent auction include an autographed football, autographed jersey, two all-expense-paid trips for two to travel with the 2005 Wranglers, an opportunity to be a Wrangler-for-a-day, two VIP season tickets, an Augusta National Master’s flag autographed by Ben Crenshaw and Ryder Cup memorabilia signed by Ben Crenshaw and Justin Leonard. One of the all expense paid trips is to travel with the 2005 Wranglers to the Dallas Desperados game and the other trip for two is for the New Orleans Voodoo game in 2005.
