The tale of Metallica is classic: drummer seeking guitar/vocalist in the classified ads, big dreams wanted and long hair okay. Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield found each other in The Recycler and recorded their first demo No Life Til’ Leather with Lloyd Grand. A few member changes and about twenty years later, Metallica is still kicking and embarking on its latest North American tour. Don’t miss these legends at the Erwin Center, Friday, September 3.

Random Wristband Policy in Effect on First Day of Ticket Sales: Numbered wristbands to be distributed for a place in line on the first day of sales beginning Wednesday, May 5 at 9AM through Friday, May 7 until 6PM at the Frank Erwin Center and at all H-E-B stores in Austin and surrounding areas where Texas Box Office outlets are located. The beginning of the line will be randomly determined on Saturday, May 8 before tickets go on sale. Wristbands guarantee a place in line, but do not guarantee tickets.
